John Hunt
John is a successful entrepreneur running his own debt restructuring consultancy business since 2008. He has also participated in a number of substantial property acquisition projects for both development and investment purposes. Additionally John mentors new companies in both the UK and Ireland advising business development strategy and fundraising.
Previously John spent more than 20 years in leadership roles with Industrial Credit Corporation, Bank of Scotland, First Active and RBS focusing on Commercial Real Estate Lending and Credit (Investment and Development).
Paul Cunningham FCA – Origination & Distribution
Paul is a qualified CA with a long established career in senior and executive management in business and corporate banking with ICC Bank and Bank of Scotland (Ireland). Paul was Head of Commercial Banking with BOSI.
He set up his own successful debt advisory firm, CD Business Partners Ltd in 2009 and has been involved in advising and raising capital for many SME businesses across all asset classes. Paul has also carried out work on behalf of a number of Private Equity firms, Debt Purchasing funds and non-bank lenders over the years.
Gilbert Carey
Gilbert has over 25 years international experience in financial services technology. Much of that time was spent working with Sales and Trading businesses in Asia and the US for banks including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. Previously he worked with Silicon Valley based fintech provider, Tibco.
Since returning to Ireland and leaving the corporate world, Gilbert has been active as an entrepreneur technologist providing consultancy services, functioning as CTO, and pursuing interests in sustainability and more generally in ESG. More recently, he has been involved in developing and applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques for business insights.
